This is the first(of many!) international trip for us with little bean in tow (today 22+1).
The first leg was a 9ish hour flight ORD -> WAW to visit Kate and Renia (Anya’s friend and goddaughter). Although super short, the visit was very sweet and just in time for Mother’s day in Poland! Renia is convinced that we are having a boy in there :-). Time will tell, but regardless baby has been a trooper! Thanks to Bryce, was a culinarily A+ first transAtlantic crossing! We munched on organic raspberries and blueberries and even a whole Costco-sized lemon poppyseed 🥗 (yum!)
After landing we had a quick lunch and Renia planted a magic bean and then we went for a hike in Lazenki Krolewskie.
We found a very nice cafe with gelato! and then stumbled on a student concert.
After that we explored some more and had a limonad and a latte macchiato to keep us on the local time.
Andat the end of the day put together a really sweet dinner.
Day1 of the trip a huge success!
